David Duvall vs. Tiger Woods 8/99 So it was a contrived match. Made for television. Quit whining. It was golf. It was a sweet course
and it beat reruns of Ally McBeal.
On the 16th hole, Duval hit a nice drive 300 yards down the middle, right into a rock formation. Curtis Strange, who I normally like, kind of hinted that he thought
that was a design flaw by Jack Nicklaus. Bulls*&t!
These guys know yardages to every nook and cranny on the course. Duvall made a mistake. I like the rock in the middle. Since the best players in the
world regularly hit it 300+ yards, they ought to have to think a little before killing driver.
How about playing under the lights? Lets go!
